**Eevi Charlotte Helvig-Norgaard** (Helvig by birth, Norgaard by marriage; born 311) is a figure of the C9 universe, recorded as homo sapiens (phase-shift variant), one of the young people who formed the House of Confidence on Aerogaea 347n. She came out of terrestrial and urban combat zones.

## Early life

 

Eevi Charlotte Helvig-Norgaard was born in year 311. She was 19 years old in 330, the year the Klak Grove was destroyed. She is Amaryllis's sister. She smiles less, but it's real when she does. What defines her in this period is Marcus. She loves him not for his strength, but for his Binary Honesty. In a world of complex social lies (which she struggles to decode), Marcus is the only variable that never changes. He is the quiet room where she can turn off her analysis engine.

 

## Later years (350 onward)

 

Her standing at this time was retired / stealth instructor. Physically, fragile. Years of molecular disassembly have left her with chronic joint pain and "fading" episodes. She moves slower, but sees everything. What defines her in this period is teaching them that "Fast isn't always Safe.".

 

## Abilities

She aggressively filters out social subtext to focus on the fastest route from problem to solution. She often misses sarcasm or hurt feelings because they are not logical. She thinks in pathfinding. She doesn't just see a room; she sees the exit routes, the cover, and the blind spots simultaneously. In company she runs a script: when social interaction is required, she runs a script. She is smiling and speaking quickly disarms threats. It is not a personality; it is calculated camouflage. When her energy drops below a threshold, the script fails. She stops smiling, stops filler words, speaks in flat commands. That is her actual state.

 

Early in life she held to a lie about herself: "If I keep smiling, the monsters can't hurt us." / “If I account for every variable, I can prevent the crash." / "Emotions are inefficient; logistics save lives.”. Later she came to hold the opposite: "You don't have to be happy to be brave." "You cannot calculate the value of a human heart. Some things must be felt, not solved.” As a young woman, her voice was rapid-fire, data-dense. She speaks in paragraphs, often correcting others' grammar or logic mid-sentence. In her prime it became efficient, clipped, absolute. "We are leaving in T-minus 30. Move.” In old age it turned soft, raspy, observant. She speaks with a smile that reaches her eyes.
