Falsifies the tactical map that marks the Great Plateau as a Red Zone. Orders the mercenary strike that wakes Chrys. "You little traitor." — said to Amaryllis. Fond. Disappointed. Professor does not lie to himself. He is one of the few characters in this saga who is completely clear-eyed about what he is doing and why. That is what makes him genuinely dangerous. Warm. Measured. Academic. He speaks the way a man speaks. Who has never once been interrupted in his life.
