Places of Aerogaea
Gazetteer · attributed to unattributed. Published as found; not corrected.
- What/Description: This is the only doughnut-shaped planet ever found. It is inhabited by species called "bears," which are dangerous predators with six round, fur-covered limbs and shark-like muzzles.
- Location: Located in the system of Dagger 33A.
- Influence: In the year 300, it was the most developed planet in the Dagger 33A system. It was quickly conquered by thousands of voidomorphians who are now living among the inhabitants. It was the last hope for regaining control, and the government is still at war with the voidomorphians on this "source planet".
Influence: The people of this planet shared their technologies and resources with the inhabitants of other planets. Akio was shipped here by his parents in a food transporting ship to avoid danger due to a lack of medicine, an excellent choice as it saved him from the final war.
Dagger 33A:
- Location: This is a system that contains the developed planet Aerogaea 374n (374).
Void (Planet):
- What/Description: A pitch-black planet. Some parts of it barely have any lighting, and a humongous doughnut covers almost every part of the planet.
- Location: Located in the center of 374.
- Influence: This is the planet where the voidomorphians (distinct, dangerous species) were found forty years ago by Thomas Elliott.
Earth One:
- What/Description: The birthplace of humans. An island here, known as Greenland, was mostly ice and snow, contrary to what its first human namers believed.
- Influence: The Snow Day holiday (first of Senetis) is celebrated to remind everyone of this planet. An ancient island on this planet was destroyed with explosives about twenty thousand years ago.
Isolated System Shield 33:
- Influence: This system ceased to exist due to a humongous blast that destroyed existing voidomorphians during the last battle of the war.
Physical Locations and Structures
Klak Grove:
- What/Description: A forest area containing the gigantic Klak family tree. The Klak trees have bluish-greenish colored leaves used to make the "tea of rebirth," which helps with fast regeneration. The grove is subject to artificial snow in winter. A mountain river, Rofdon, is nearby. Aurora Henderson is the keeper of the Klak grove.
- Location: The home area of the House of Confidence.
- Influence: Provides the powerful Klak leaves for regeneration. It served as the immediate surrounding environment for the children’s early life and training. The group was eventually forced out and had to cross the paved bridge to leave.
Big T (Treehouse) / House of Confidence:
- What/Description: A treehouse inherited by the children and restored, situated at the top of a gigantic Klak tree, standing about fourteen stories tall. It has a living room equipped with old virtual reality stations (mv3s). It includes an underground layer.
- Location: On the bank of the river, within the Klak Grove.
- Influence: It is the home and headquarters of the group known as The House of Confidence.
The Room of Discoveries / Chrys's Lab (LOS):
- What/Description: A highly efficient, humongous laboratory located in the underground layer of Big T. It is packed with advanced technologies, including supercomputers, molecular printers, and machines that make machines. It is lined with whitholium, an exceptionally durable, damage-absorbing, and regenerating material. All gadgets are retractable.
- Location: Underground layer of Big T.
- Influence: The central hub where Chrys works, develops technology, and creates the dimension-based training systems.
River Rofdon:
- What/Description: A mountain river with a strong stream.
- Location: A few meters north from Big T.
- Influence: Chrys and Marcus harnessed its flow to build a "stream processing machine" that collected and processed water, while also turning the stream into a power source for the Klak trees and the lab.
Red Desert:
- What/Description: An area consisting of tons upon tons of sand, with few bovirlias (lazy, hovering, cattle-like creatures). It is subjected to cold, strong winds.
- Location: On the other side of the paved bridge exit from the Klak Grove.
- Influence: The location where the group encountered quicksand and learned to utilize the bovirlias for travel.
SKW (Location):
- What/Description: A camping area marked by a big wooden sign.
- Influence: This was a gathering point for the Lost Boys, where their leader (Leinder/Byron) reappeared with new, enhanced powers.
Cave (Red Desert/Underground):
- What/Description: A massive cave. It contains slippery metal tubes and rocks, and is where Mae (a cave guide) operates.
- Influence: Served as a temporary hideout and passage after Marcus and Chrys fell into the quicksand.
Library / Shelter (Robert Graunos's Facility):
- What/Description: A large room initially resembling a library, filled with tall bookshelves. The floor has bright, intersecting line patterns, and the black ceiling has a crimson line seemingly maneuvering around them. It contains a weaponry room. It was built by Robert Graunos. The environment is filled with the sounds of saws and chugging engines, and smells of paint and burning plastic.
- Location: Accessed via a broad passageway from the Cave.
- Influence: This structure was intended to be a shelter. It was raided by the Sharks (BNCY division members).
Great Plateau (Elsher Albert’s Hideout):
- What/Description: A hideout located high above a sea of gray rain clouds, surrounded by soaring stone ruins. A castle that stood here was almost fully wiped out years ago. Features a wide, half-broken stone bridge flanked by two silver towers.
- Location: An elevated, concealed area.
- Influence: Left by Elsher Albert as a secret shelter for the members of Confidence in an emergency. It is concealed from the radars of the Sharks. It became the group’s new base of operations and a rallying point for missions.
Empty Plateau/Village (Hunter’s Territory):
- What/Description: An area reached by descending a narrow path from the Great Plateau. It featured small wooden houses on a light blue cobblestone path.
- Influence: This location was the hunting ground for the House of Confidence group, where they encountered a powerful insect-like creature.
BNCY Division Headquarters:
- What/Description: A high-tech facility with colorful buildings towering above the clouds. Structures are interconnected by transparent, glass-like bridges and use complex systems relying on magnetic powers for vertical movement. It includes a large hangar for military craft and classrooms where fire sometimes erupts.
- Location: Flying above the clouds.
- Influence: A prestigious training academy for the gifted and the organization that recruited Eon and his companions. It is led by Commander Fredrick.
Dimensions and Simulation Environments
The Tesseract Dimension:
- What/Description: A dimension Chrys created. In this space, one cannot die (maximum injury is a concussion). The body's time of entrance is tracked, and if the "center point" exits, everyone else is discarded. It is regenerating, allowing Chrys to infinitely concentrate mass into solids or liquids for food.
- Location: A separate dimension accessible through a portal created by Chrys.
- Influence: It is the primary and only source of training for the House of Confidence. Chrys spent an entire year of total time here learning about it and integrating Will.
Mid-Tesseract Dimension (MT):
- What/Description: Described as a "package of weird things," staying here for long can make one sick or worse.
- Influence: Anyone entering the Tesseract must pass through MT to set their center points. Objects created in the Tesseract dimension are destroyed here.
Floating Island (Simulation Area):
- What/Description: A simulated environment located exactly three kilometers up from the ground. It contains a gym.
- Influence: Served as the initial deployment point for the group's simulation training.
Greenland (Simulation Area):
- What/Description: A simulation that represents the Earth One island of Greenland. It is portrayed as green and filled with "loads and loads of monsters".
- Location: Inside the simulation environment (Tesseract dimension).
- Influence: Used for training the group's endurance and practicing the effects of the Automatic Fitness Testing System (AFTS), which makes simple tasks much harder.
Arena of Dexterity (Simulation Area L930):
- What/Description: A humongous arena located on Floor L930 of a structure, filled with cheering spectators and thundering noises. The terrain can change drastically, shifting from a slippery white floor to ginger mountains.
- Influence: Hosted high-intensity combat simulations (Project Arena), allowing the group to practice fighting against skilled training models like Villgor.
